Hui Li

B.S. - Applied Chemistry - Wuhan University,
P. R. China

Bio:

Hui Li joined the Voth group in 2006. Her research focus employs multi-state empirical valence bond (MS-EVB) theory to study proton transport (PT) processes in biological systems. Additionally, Hui studies cation transport (including proton) in the aquaporin-1 transmembrane channel and its mutants.

Latest Publications and Presentations:

  • Li, H. Chen, H., Zeuthen, T., Conrad, C., Wu, B., Beitz, E., and Voth, G. A., "Enhancement of Proton Conductance by Rational Mutations at Selective Filter Region of AQP1", in preparation.
  • April, 2008 - Li, H., "Protein Membrane Position and Protein Solvation Parameters - A Computational Approach". Department of Chemistry, University of Utah .
